  1. app/api/upload-car/route.ts — sendCarNotifications() now runs inside Next.js 15's after(), so Vercel keeps the function invocation alive until it actually finishes instead of risking termination right after the response is sent. This is the fix for the actual root cause.
  2. Same file — added a RESEND_API_KEY guard, logging for the subscriber-query error, and logging for each rejected Promise.allSettled send, so a future failure won't be silent again.
  3. app/api/notifications/subscribe/route.ts — upsert/delete errors now return a 500 instead of always claiming success; the existing frontend button already only updates its state on res.ok, so no UI change was needed.
  4. supabase/migrations/20260012_handle_new_user_trigger.sql — new handle_new_user trigger on auth.users guarantees every user (OAuth or email/password) gets a profiles row server-side, closing the latent gap where OAuth profile creation was client-only.

Not yet applied to the actual Supabase project — you'll need to run the migration (supabase db push or via the dashboard) since I don't have DB/CLI access from here. Nothing has been committed or pushed per your CLAUDE.md workflow rules; let me know if you'd like me to commit.
